Dave joined Purmort Brothers Insurance Agency in 1990. Although he has concentrated mostly on Commercial Lines, he has been a solid producer of all lines of business over the years. Dave began his career with the Central Insurance Companies in 1976 after he graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing. He earned his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1983, Associate in Underwriting in 1985 and his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters designation in 1992. Dave and his wife, Cathy, have three children Kalli, John and Hannah. He is active in the community serving on the YMCA Board of Directors, member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Elks Lodge, Van Wert Rotary, Willow Bend Golf Club, Van Wert High School Booster Club and the Ball State Letterman’s Club.
